Family Programs

SEEC has created a unique suite of family programs based on its more than 30 years of experience as a school.  We offer classes for children and adults, parties, a part-time cohort, and virtual learning experiences.

Virtual Family Programs

We are in the process of developing be to dynamic learning experiences that focus on creating community, utilizing museum resources, and providing support for caregivers. We appreciate your patience during this phase of development. Please check back in late July/August when we hope to have a menu of options.

Smithsonian Early Explorers

The Smithsonian Early Explorers (SEE) meets 2 days-a-week for the course of an academic year and includes caregivers and their children aged, 18 – 36 months. Like our school, SEE invests in supporting the development of the whole child and creating strong relationships with families.

Classes and Parties

At SEEC, we are all about celebrating special moments and bringing families together. Our celebrations focus on content, community, and fun. For children aged 2 – 8.

In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are currently not offering public programs. We look forward to connecting with families via virtual programs in the fall of 2020.
